Public Hearing set for Christiana Comprehensive Plan
The town's Smart Growth Committee has completed a final draft of the Town of Christiana Comprehensive Plan, which will guide the town's land use decisions over the next 20 years. The plan was developed in accordance with the state's comprehensive planning law, which requires all communities to adopt a comprehensive plan by no later than January 1, 2010. More information, including a copy of the plan can be found on the website here.

Town residents are encouraged to attend a Town Board public hearing on the plan draft on Tuesday, December 8th at 7:30pm.

Official Notice - Town of Christiana

The Town of Christiana has programmable weather/hazard alert radios that may be purchased at the town hall on Tuesday or Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon, or you may call town clerk Nancy at 423-4359 to set up time to pick up a radio. The cost of radio including tax is $21.42.

   The radio will alert for 76 different types of advisories, watches and warnings issued by the National Weather Service. Even though the National Weather Service issues these alerts, they include both severe weather and non weather related emergencies.
